Ordinary, Common and Public. Common Fixes for Ordinary Communities

This video is a recording of the second session of the Sociología Ordinaria Encounters #14, Ordinary, Common and Public. Common Fixes for Ordinary Communities, held on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Sociología Ordinaria is a research group from the Complutense University of Madrid’s (UCM) Sociology Department which explores daily knowledge deemed ordinary, superficial or frivolous from a traditional academic viewpoint. 

This session gets under way with talks by Sara Rodero Ibáñez and Javier García-Martínez in the round-table Mediations of Care: Mutual Support?, followed by the Entrar Afuera (Marta Pérez and Irene Turiel) collective presenting Not for Sale and Open to the Social: Transforming Public Healthcare to Defend It. The session ends with Domestic Mediations: Kitchen Trenches, an intervention by Julián Porras Bulla and Rubén Blanco.
