For an Archive Imagination. Romero Archive for/to come

This video is a recording of the inaugural lecture that took place during the sixth edition of Archives of the Commons on Monday, 9 March 2026. In the lecture, Lucía Esperanza Bianchi, Lucía Cañada and Ana Longoni present the project Romero Archive for/to come: a set of methodologies and collaborative procedures developed from the Southern Conceptualisms Network and oriented towards restoring the memory of archive and rekindling the practice of Argentinian artist Juan Carlos Romero. The project is developed from a gesture of (re)constructing and reinventing an archive of the commons, which is continually open, collective and under construction.
