The Network of Museums for Equality

The Network of Museums for Equality comprises museums and art centres which, from an active ethical commitment, act together for gender equality from an intersectional approach, taking into consideration other forms of oppression and working from the objective of reversing situations of inequality. Since 2022 the network has fostered the creation of management tools allowing members to develop programmes, plans and projects which are more democratic and have a social impact from the notion of equality. In working as a network, actions such as activities, seminars and campaigns are put forward and give priority to justice for equality and good institutional practices.
