Exhibit documentary heritage

Space D is an exhibition space in which the Museo Reina Sofía Library holds small documentary shows related to contemporary art. The space, opened in 2012, has been gradually evolving to operate in three capacities.

First, as a place of reflection enabling greater depth to research into and knowledge of different bibliographical and document-based collections housed in the Museo, developing different narratives and myriad perspectives. Second, as a place of dissemination devoted to recovering, approaching and granting visibility to the documentary legacy safeguarded by the institution.

Third, as a point of convergence between the Library and other spaces, strengthening, complementing and integrating different initiatives and activities organised in the Museo.
