- Description
A work made up of a series of three figures that can be freely adapted to the space in different positions
- Materia
Pine wood, polyester and fabric
This sculpture is made up of three anthropomorphous figures cloaked in carved and partially polychromatic wood. Their heads are shaped like a strange bird, where the encasement protrudes and the face is hidden, granting them an air of mystery. These figures proximate the world of the object, for they are missing arms which are replaced by the suggestion of cello cases. References to this type of image can be found in Bruegel the Elder’s Beekeepers or in Rodin’s Balzac, in which clothing has its own autonomy. The title and attitude of the personages lead us to interpret that they are judging or observing something, or looking for someone passing alongside.
