La columna y el peso (The Column and the Weight)

This photograph draws forth the vibration between reality and appearance via the contrast between two seemingly heterogeneous objects: a column and a weight. The inherent characteristics in the column, as a formal element of architecture, disappear to lay the focus beyond its structural qualities and upon the weight, an element which sets the direction of new interpretations of meaning through perception.
