Guernica. Picasso comunista (Guernica. Picasso communist)

A selection of 125 pieces from the original installation Guernica. Picasso Communist, comprising 196 documents of secret reports declassified by the FBI which demonstrate that, with a view to confirming his Communist affiliation, Picasso was followed and his activities monitored while he lived in France. The documents that make up this series have parts crossed out, making them difficult to comprehend as a whole. These conserved phrases enable Picasso’s political side to be discerned through their detailed account of his daily activities and art.
