The series Ideal Artists zooms in on the figure of the ideal artist through statistical methods which materialise in a physical body. More specifically, this sculpture represents and visualises the figure of American artist Man Ray with a section of a circular chart, or a pie chart, to create an enigmatic and cryptic figure that rises in unstable equilibrium.
