Peter Fischli/David Weiss
Are Animals People?
In the wake of their first exhibition in 1981, Swiss artists Peter Fischli (1952) and David Weiss (1946–2012) became recurrent figures on the international art scene. After featuring in their first video, The Least Resistance, the characters Bear and Rat, alter egos who discuss and reflect on the art world, have accompanied their careers ever since. This publication presents the relevance of Bear and Rat thirty years on from their first appearance, articulating a retrospective vision with the final double installation of their project.
