Dorit Margreiter

This catalogue for the retrospective exhibition of Dorit Margreiter’s oeuvre draws several descriptive lines attempting to make an inventory of some of the settings and messages of modernity through documents, photographs and videos around the pivotal work Zentrum, in process since 2004. The catalogue gathers images of the Museum´s installation, a programmatic essay by curator Lynne Cooke, notes on Margreiter in which André Rottmann talks about the artists as topologist, and the essay ‘Naming the parts’ by Penelope Curtis.
