Patricia Schossler is a chemist and researcher from Brazil who works as a consultant in national and international projects related to the conservation of modern materials (plastics and paints). Her works include the characterisation of materials and degradation process with the aim of helping conservators and art historians to understand the behaviours of these materials, as well as supporting decision-making around procedures of preventive conservation and intervention.

Reyes Jiménez de Garnica holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a graduate from the Advanced School of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, Madrid. She completed her training in Italy and has worked in Switzerland, France and different institutions in Spain. Since 2002, she has directed the Department of Preventive Conservation and Restoration at Museu Picasso in Barcelona and has developed science programmes on Picasso’s creative processes.

Elli Kampasakali holds a degree in Chemistry and a PhD and MA in Conservation Science. She is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where she also works as an associate professor on the post-graduate programme on protecting, conserving and restoring cultural monuments.

Clara Barber Llatas holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and is a specialist in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration at the same institution. She is also a professional restorer and lectures at the University of Chile and Finis Terrae University.
