Juan Alonso López Iniesta is a multimedia artist and interactive designer. He holds a PhD in Fine Arts, and is a member on the editorial board of the international indexed journal ASRI and the publishing house Cuadernos de Media Art from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He is also a member of the AEMA (Spanish Archive of Media Art) research team, a research fellow at the International Museum of Electrography, a member of the research team Linguistics and New Media LIYNMEDIA and a lecturer in the Area of Architectural Graphic Expression at Rey Juan Carlos University.
José Ramón Alcalá Mellado is a multimedia artist, curator and author. From 1989 to 2018, he was creator and director of the International Museum of Electrography, which received the National Calcography Award in Graphic Art (1999), head researcher of the group “Cultural Interfaces; Art and New Media”, from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (2005–2018) and coordinator of Contemporary Art Collections and Archives from the Cuenca Department of Fine Arts (2013–2018). Currently, he is a professor of Art and New Media at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, director of the international indexed journal ASRI and co-director of the Ibero-American Journal of Digital and Electronic Arts.

M. Carme Balliu holds a graduate degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, specialising in graphic documents, from the Advanced School of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration of Catalonia (ESCRBCC), where she also earned an MA in Heritage Conservation and Restoration. As a freelance professional (1998–2018), she has worked for institutions that include the MACBA Museum of Contemporary Art, Barcelona, the Barcelona Centre of Contemporary Culture (CCCB), La Caixa Foundation, the Centre for the Restoration of Artefacts of Catalonia (CRBMC) and Fundación Miró. Since 2018, she has coordinated the Conservation-Restoration Area of Documents, Graphic Art and Photography at the Centre for the Restoration of Artefacts of Catalonia (CRBMC).
Aleix Barberà Giné is a conservator-restorer of cultural heritage specialised in inorganic material. He works as a freelance professional and is an associate professor at the University of Lleida. In recent years, he has specialised in the 3D digitisation of heritage, applied specifically to the analysis, conservation-restoration and reproduction of cultural heritage.

Arianne Vanrell Vellosillo holds a PhD in Art History Heritage Conservation and Restoration from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Maîtrise de Sciences et Techniques and an MA in the Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is a contemporary art conservator-restorer at Museo Reina Sofía, specialising in art installations and complex works. Moreover, she is an honorary professor in the Painting-Restoration Department at the Complutense University of Madrid and a lecturer on the MA in the Conservation and Exhibition of Contemporary Art at the University of the Basque Country.
5:30pm Georgia O'Keeffe Through Works from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections
Marta Palao González-Aller has worked in collaboration with the Restoration Area of the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum since 2004. She holds a degree in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a graduate from the Advanced School of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, Madrid. She primarily works in preventive conservation, restoration treatments and technical studies on works from the Collection and pieces on loan.
Susana Pérez Pérez has been head of the Restoration Area of the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum since 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialising in restoration, and a restoration qualification from the Advanced School of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, Madrid. She also earned an MA in Heritage Restoration and Rehabilitation from the University of Alcalá. From 1997 to 2000 she worked on restoration and research projects in Museo Reina Sofía.

Regina Rivas Tornés holds a degree and MA in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration. Since 2019, she has worked in the Museo Reina Sofía’s Conservation and Restoration Department team, managing the conservation and restoration of audiovisuals and new media in the Collection.
Elena Morales García holds a degree and MA in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration, and works for different conservation and restoration institutions and private companies in Spain and Portugal. Moreover, she was previously part of the Museo Reina Sofía’s Department of Conservation and Restoration through a student internship, working with audiovisuals and new media from the Collection.

Ana Cancela holds a bachelor’s degree and MA in Art History from Universidade do Porto. She also holds a degree in Piano from the Porto Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo. Her research centres on the sphere of transdisciplinary studies of art history, contemporary music history and artistic practices. She is a researcher at the Centro de Investigação Transdisciplinar “Cultura, Espaço e Memória” (CITCEM) from Universidade do Porto, and is currently studying a PhD in Heritage Studies from Universidad de Oporto, with the research: Sound Arts in Performance Art: Synergies, Practices and Archive, a project funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).
