This work by Muntadas is a slow-motion projection which reproduces the movement of the hands of a politician with no recognisable face. Through the use of metonymy, he analyses non-verbal language and gesture as a power symbol, as a ritual, whereby the most diverse strategies of deterrence are concealed, whilst demonstrating the tensions between the imposition of power norms and the reality of society.
