This work critically explores the archetypal representation of the feminine figure as Patricia Gadea factors in, satirically, iconographic pop that draws inspiration from the comic, as a vindication of popular culture, to express her personal vision of the situation of the traditional woman, concerned with celebrity magazines and caring for her children and husband. Consequently, the work hits visitors’ awareness as it lays bare the contradictions that exist in hegemonic discourse, revealing new messages hidden in symbols of mainstream culture.
