Look Closely. Photobook
Four-Colour Process Mediation Around the Library’s Photobook Collection
Look Closely is one of the action lines that shapes the mediation programme Casi libros (Almost Books). This particular line centres on training users in the artistic and documentary holdings from the Museo’s Library and disseminating manifold specialist tools designed for art research and contemporary creation by way of a series of formats comprising workshops, courses and thematic guides, to take place over the course of a year.

Wikipedia Publishing Workshop and the Presentation of Data Speak
Look Closely. Feminist Editathon By Women Creators is a workshop to address the substantial gender gap that exists on the platform in Spanish, both in terms of publishing and the nature of its content, as it looks to contribute to the creation of new entries by women creators.

Book Night
A Library for the XYZ Century
When you hear the word “library”, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Books? Full shelves? Study? Complete silence? This architecture workshop invites people to discover the nature of the Museo Reina Sofía Library, the history of its construction and the use of its space while passing through. What’s it like inside? What happens if it is explored with a set objective or from another perspective? No doubt there will be unexpected discoveries!

The exhibition Colectivo Acciones de Arte (C.A.D.A.), 1979-1985 brings together a broad selection of materials from the Archive and work of C.A.D.A., which have been recently acquired by the Museo through dialogue with the material’s custodians, Lotty Rosenfeld and Diamela Eltit, and via research by Red de Conceptualismos del Sur. C.A.D.A. was a collective set up by visual artists Lotty Rosenfeld and Juan Castillo, the writers Diamela Eltit and Raúl Zurita, and sociologist Fernando Balcells.

BookJockey session with Fosi Vegue from Blank Paper Escuela
Science and Fiction: A Journey in Which the Photographic Document Transcends an Unknown Dimension
Blank Paper Escuela puts forward BookJockey, an experimental format with which to show and enjoy photobooks. It involves a DJ session with contemporary photographic books, displaying and mixing materials to create a narrative which prompts the audience to perceive them differently.
