Session 5. Edificio España

In 2007 a complete remodelling project began in one of Madrid's most emblematic sites, a building that during Franco's regime was a symbol of prosperity. Over 200 workers of different nationalities participated in the project, which generated a surprising set of anecdotes and led to the experiences of the workers becoming a part of the memory of the place. An immense Tower of Babel upon which the footprints of our times will remain etched.
