Session 4. January, 2012 or The apotheosis of Isabella the Catholic

An audio track from one of the city tours currently available to visitors in Madrid, describing important monuments, palaces and buildings. However, the film's images show a Madrid that is anonymous, interior and mute.
By separating the sound from the images, the film distances itself and changes the focus of an institutional discourse using an apparently neutral spatial tour of an urban setting, to construct a very particular vision or version of the History of Spain.
