Los museos del silencio, 2008

This documentary video project brings together a series of films about museums and anatomical spaces that the choreographer-dancer Elena Córdoba and the director Sylvia Calle have been making since 2008. Los museos del silencio is divided, for the time being, into three parts: “Piezas Macabras,” on the anatomical collections of Paris, Lyon and Arras, France; “Piezas Móviles,” on the Museum of Human Anatomy, in Naples; and “Piezas Vivas,” on the anatomy department of the University of Coimbra. The latter two are shown here.
