Every month the library makes a number of acquisitions that are especially relevant for research into Spanish art, without losing view of the international context in which it takes place.
For this reason, it has put in place a program for the purchase of retrospective and rare material through old book markets and auctions; it also pursues an active policy of compiling archives formed by artists, artist collectives and art galleries.
