Master in Contemporary Art Conservation and Restoration
Organised by Museo Reina Sofía, the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Complutense and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, this pioneering project explores the conservation strategies applicable to contemporary art in its new disciplines; photography, film, video, video art, art installations, digital art, net-art, etc. During the course various case studies are examined from both the theoretical and the practical perspective, with the participation of all the parties involved in the field: artists, conservators, engineers, exhibition set-up teams and experts in different media.
